Myalgic Encephalomyelitis[ME](a.k.a. Chronic Fatigue Syndrome[CFS]) is an invisible illness that can be extremely difficult to understand from the outside.
There is, however, an informative comic that gives you a clear image of this illness. In this comic, a lovable character, “Kuma-san,” introduces what it is like to have ME/CFS.
Ms. Yurari, the author, also suffers from severe ME/CFS.
She is active on social media such as Twitter and Pixiv to raise awareness of this invisible illness. She lets Kuma-san explain what ME/CFS patients deal with on a daily basis humorously and poignantly.
Kuma-san discusses the very real pain and distress that all ME/CFS patients experience.She fills a very important role, speaking on behalf of everyone with this illness.
